Love and Care for People (LCP), or in Irish “Gra Agus Curam do Dhaoine,” is an independently registered Nonprofit Organization. We are non-judgmental, non-discriminatory and non-governmental organization founded in 2004. LCP is a safe haven where loving and caring supporters, volunteers and team members, or as we say our family, all work together to bring hope and provide non-judgemental support, education, vocational skills training, referrals and counselling services, opportunities and networks among other various services to children, young people and women from different cultures and nationalities. This space is for those who are survivors, affected or at risk of Family Violence (including, but not limited, to forced marriage, reproductive abuse, honor-based violence, disownment, destructive relationships, child abuse, etc.), poverty and other social exclusion. LCP works with other grassroot organisations and offers business and vocational skills training, mentorship, and the necessary tools and resources for women and young people to become economically self-sustaining. Through our grassroot development programs, support services, networks and partners, we have supported over 4,000 children, young people and women to make the transition: from being victims of abuse and poverty to empowered victors who are valued. Our beneficiaries are supported to rebuild and take ownership of their lives. They are encouraged to develop their confidence, self appreciation and build up their own capacities as decision makers. What’s more...they are encouraged to make a positive difference in their own communities so the ripple of Love and Care continues.

Love Action Project seeks to provide a platform for a) individuals to embark on social/charity work, b) individuals to showcase their talent and leadership, c) individuals to socialize and network with other like-minded individuals, because we believe people with a good heart deserves to know another. We advocate the concept of “having fun but never forget to give”. As much as we provide an avenue for individuals to give, we also encourage them to step forward to showcase their talents, and develop their leadership skills with us. In addition, we create a platform for everyone to socialize and network at the end of the day. Our concept of charity is not just one that provides an avenue to give, but rather, we wish to plant the seeds of charity in our volunteers’ hearts, so that they can reap the benefits of giving, and pay it forward to the society. Our Beliefs Here in Love Action Project, we believe in the equal and inherent value of all human and animal life. We believe that a worldview bound by borders is outdated and that helping people and animals anywhere is the responsibility of humanity everywhere.
