Créée en 2012, L’École de la générosité œuvre au quotidien pour sensibiliser les jeunes aux grands enjeux de société, développer leur empathie et leur esprit critique et les inciter à mener des actions solidaires. Agréée par le Rectorat de Paris depuis 2014, elle a depuis sensibilisé près de 20 000 enfants à l’engagement en faveur de l’intérêt général. POUR QUI ? L’Ecole de la générosité propose aux enseignants du CP au CM2, un programme permettant de travailler aussi bien l’éducation morale et civique que l’expression orale et écrite, l’éducation aux médias et à l’information, via une pédagogie de projet qui rend les enfants acteurs de leurs apprentissages. Le programme de l’Ecole de la générosité permet de développer les cultures de la sensibilité, du droit et de la règle, du jugement et de l’engagement - constitutives du programme d’EMC. COMMENT ? Le programme se réalise en toute autonomie tout au long de l’année scolaire. Il est construit en 2 temps : - Un parcours sensibilisation où les enfants font l’expérience consciente de l’empathie, approfondissent les 6 grands enjeux de notre monde (santé, pauvreté et exclusion, environnement, art et culture, éducation, droits humains) et choisissent la cause pour laquelle ils vont se mobiliser collectivement. - Un parcours action où les enfants rencontrent une association bénéficiaire, si possible de proximité, afin de mettre en œuvre un projet solidaire au profit de celle-ci. Toute l’année, l’équipe de l’Ecole de la générosité reste disponible pour accompagner les enseignants engagés dans le programme.
