We are committed to providing professional management by operating the facilities with the highest level of efficiency and professional integrity, being a good corporate citizen and striving to exceed expectations of our customers, clients and business partners. No two events are exactly alike, that’s why the Las Cruces Convention Center is designed to be as flexible as it is attractive. The LEED Gold certified Convention Center is 55,000 square feet with just over 30,000 square feet of meeting space. The facility features a 14,500 square foot exhibition hall as well as a nearly 9,000 square foot ballroom. There are 6 break-out rooms with nearly 3,000 square feet of space. Additionally, the building boasts over 5,000 square feet outdoor space and 8,500 square feet of indoor pre-function space. Free WiFi for all attendees is accessible throughout the facility – and we offer the fastest internet speed available. The Convention Center is located at 680 University Avenue, at the corner of University Avenue and Union Avenue. The Center is within close proximity of restaurants, entertainment, shopping, and boasts over 2,500 hotel rooms within a 6 mile radius. The Las Cruces Gospel Rescue Mission strives to share the love of Christ with the homeless while meeting their physical, emotional and mental needs. We provide for two different groups. The first group wants a bed and three meals a day while the second group desires to once again become a productive member of society. This second group can stay at the shelter during the day and has a job assignment and attends meetings and Bible studies. Some of the graduates from this group are now full time employees of the mission.
Las Cumbres Observatory is building a global network of astronomical observatories for educational outreach and scientific research. LCO builds the telescopes and instrumentation to outfit the network of observatories. LCO also operates the network, providing observing time to researchers and educational institutions.
