The Mission of the Limb Preservation Foundation is to support the prevention and treatment of limb-threatening conditions due to tumor, trauma or infection. The goal of the Foundation is to enhance the quality of life for those individuals facing limb threatening conditions and raise funds for research, college scholarships, patient assistance and educational programs.

It was formed after a demerger of STD Pharmaceutical Products Ltd, that was originally formed in 1967 to supply a novel sclerosant to surgeons for the non-surgical treatment of varicose veins and promote non-surgical treatment of varicose veins. At the Limbless Association, we believe no amputee need cope alone. Established since 1983, we offer both practical and emotional support for amputees throughout their pre and post-amputation journey.
