Mid-County United Ministries (MUM) is an independent agency that has provided a safety net for the working poor, the disabled, the unemployed, and the elderly on fixed incomes since 1996. MUM's food pantry helps thousands of clients with a selection of nonperishable items such as pasta, cereal, canned meats, vegetables and fruit. The pantry carries the name of Captain Joseph A. Mattingly Jr., a longtime Montgomery police officer who championed community service in the mid-county area before his death in 2003. Along with fighting hunger, MUM also provides financial assistance for eviction prevention, utility cutoffs, and prescription drug assistance. MUM partners with with the Montgomery Department of Health and Human services, Capital Area Food Bank, the Housing Opportunities Commission, Interfaith Works, Catholic Charities, Jewish Social Services, Bethesda Cares, Manna, Sheperd's Table, Proyecto Salud Clinic, and Colesville Volunteer Dental Clinic.

Elder Options advocates on behalf of and provides valuable services to older adults and persons living with disabilities that enhance well-being and support the ability to live with dignity within their communities. We provide information and referral services, benefits counseling, screening and eligibility assistance, Healthy Living workshops on Diabetes, classes for improving and maintaining balance – such as Tai Chi, one-on-one help for Depression, SHINE Medicare counseling, hospital to home Care Transitions services, caregiver support and education and program oversight of lead agencies in mid-Florida.

It is home to Mair Hall, a concert and trade-show venue, and McCann Ice Arena, a full-service ice arena. Mair Hall, a 3,050 seat multi-purpose venue, is located in the city of Poughkeepsie, NY. The venue is a full entertainment Center featuring concerts, family shows, trade shows, banquets, and sporting events. The facility is home for sports and entertainment in New York’s Scenic Dutchess County.
