Mid-Ohio Foodbank provides food to a half million of our hungry neighbors each year by partnering with more than 650 community partners across 20-central and eastern Ohio counties. Since 1980, the Foodbank has joined food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, produce markets, senior centers, and after-school programs to make nutritious food accessible to those in our communities who are hungry. In the past year, the Foodbank distributed more than 70 million pounds of food enabling its partner charities to provide more than 155,000 meals every day. The Mid-Region Council of Governments (MRCOG) is a consortium of local and tribal governments and public/private partnerships working together to solve regional challenges and create a vibrant central New Mexico. The MRCOG mission is to strengthen individual communities by identifying and initiating regional planning strategies through open dialogue and collaboration between the member governments. Representing the counties of Bernalillo, Valencia, Torrance, and Sandoval, we provide planning services in the areas of transportation, agriculture, workforce development, employment growth, land-use, water, and economic development. We provide a forum for groups and individual communities to meet and address regional issues. By working together as a region, we're able to identify and implement short and long term policy decisions that are critical to a healthy community and prosperous NM. Much of the transportation planning support we provide to the outlying areas of the region occurs through the Rural Transportation Planning Organization, and to the urban core through the Metropolitan Planning Organization. The majority of data collection and analysis work is performed region-wide and can be customized to meet individual needs. We also manage the popular commuter rail service: the NM Rail Runner Express. Our regional water planning effort addresses a fundamental concern of local governments: how will we meet future water needs? Likewise, the Agriculture Collaborative focuses on another scarce resource: local farmland, which as a result of urban encroachment, is dwindling. Our regional economy cannot be prosperous without jobs, and through Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico offices, we are assisting area employers while providing quality resources for people exploring career opportunities. We also assist the regional economy by providing a summary of the region's economic conditions and recommended activities for growth and development.

The Eastern Shore has some of the highest poverty rates in Maryland, and people in need too often lack access to legal services. Mid-Shore Pro Bono provides legal help to those struggling with such serious issues as custody and divorce, end of life decision-making, bankruptcy, foreclosure and immigration. Our clients are your neighbors, your friends, your coworkers – and helping them in times of crisis improves our Eastern Shore community as a whole. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are known for protecting the rights of all Eastern Shore residents. Our clients receive one-on-one, personal attention from our volunteer attorneys. Because we are deeply embedded in the community, we can best respond to local needs. For example, we created a new program to assist elderly clients who are part of our area’s growing senior population. Although we receive some funding from foundations and individuals, it is not nearly enough to meet the needs of our community. We rely on local support to make a difference on the Eastern Shore.

Mid-South Transplant Foundation, Inc. is the federally designated Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) serving western Tennessee, eastern Arkansas, and northern Mississippi. The Mission of Mid-South Transplant Foundation is to improve the quality of lives through excellence in the process of organ and tissue donation and transplantation. We were founded in 1976 by Dr. Louis Britt – a transplant surgeon who performed the first kidney transplant here in Memphis in 1970. As an OPO, Mid-South Transplant Foundation (MSTF)’s mission is to advocate for all organ and tissue donors and recipients.
