MOL Norge is an exploration company with a portfolio of 16 exploration licenses in the Norwegian North Sea, within three geographical areas: Central Graben South, Viking Graben South and Northern North Sea. We have participated in the drilling of several exploration wells in the North Sea as a non-operator, and will soon start drilling MOL’s third operated offshore well in license PL820. MOL Norge is developing a new offshore exploration hub and center of excellence in Norway, building on the experience of a strong exploration-focused team on site. A tiszaújvárosi MOL Petrolkémiai Zrt. Magyarország egyik legnagyobb vegyipari szereplője, amely stabil és megbízható munkahelyet biztosít munkavállalóinak. A vállalat 1953-ban kezdte meg működését Tiszai Vegyi Kombinát néven, 2004-ben került a MOL-csoport többségi tulajdonába, majd 2015-ben a MOL lett a kizárólagos tulajdonos. A vállalat a pozsonyi Slovnaft a.s. petrolkémiai üzemeivel együtt a MOL Downstream divízió integrált részeként működik. 2023-ban ünnepelte fennállásának 70. évfordulóját. A MOL Petrolkémia kiemelkedő pozíciót foglal el a közép-európai régió petrolkémiai vállalatai között. A tiszaújvárosi telephelyen található két olefin üzem gőzkrakkoló egység kapacitása 660 kt/év etilén és 330 kt/év propilén, míg az extrakciós termékcsoportban évente 130 kt butadién és 60 kt MTBE termék készül. Az 5 polimerüzem 765 kt/év termeléssel a legnagyobb európai polimergyártók között van, 17%-os piaci részesedéssel Közép-Európában. Az integrált működés lehetőséget ad a MOL-csoport számára a vegyipari termékek gyártására. A MOL-csoport 2030-ig szóló hosszú távú stratégiájában kulcsszerepet szán a vegyipari értéklánc bővítésének, 2016 és 2030 között 4,5 milliárd dollár értékű beruházást tervez, amelynek jelentős része Tiszaújvárosban valósul meg. . A stratégia megvalósításának meghatározó eleme a májusban átadott Poliol Komplexum, amelynek éves termelési kapacitása 205 kt poliol és 60 kt propilén-glikol. A jelenleg építés alatt álló Olefin Konvertáló Egység az MPK saját nyersanyagellátásának biztonságát növeli.
