For over 20 years, Montessori Children's School Inc. is an award-winning, family-owned education company based in Houston, TX. We believe in an authentic Montessori education that develops a childs inner powers, self-discipline, and concentration.

You may know the name Montessori. And though Montessori is part of our name, it only begins to describe what makes us different.

One of the largest Montessori institutions worldwide, the mission of Montessori Group is to encourage and promote education in every way. The key focus is child education in accordance with the philosophy and methods of the late Dr Maria Montessori. Born in 1870, Maria Montessori is regarded as one of the most important early years educators, an innovator of classroom practices and ideas which continue to have a profound influence on the education of young children. The Montessori St Nicholas Training Centre was founded on Maria Montessoris last visit to London in 1918. Building on this distinct heritage and history, the Montessori Group has grown into one of the largest Montessori institutions worldwide. Through a family of unified organisations, the Montessori Group continues the pioneering vision of Maria Montessori to unlock the potential in every individual and transform the world. The Montessori Group includes Montessori Centre International (MCI), Montessori St Nicholas Charity (MSN), Montessori Network (MN), and Montessori Accreditation International (MAI). In addition, the Group also facilitates the unification of the Montessori movement across the UK, providing relevant training and funding research into the value and effectiveness of Montessori education.
