Was vor über 30 Jahren (1985 gegründet von Stefan Maier) als Fertigungs- und Montagebetrieb begann, hat sich heute zu einem Marktführer im Bereich Sonderlösungen für Joghurtproduktions- und -verpackungsanlagen entwickelt. Der Einstieg in die Molkereibranche kam durch kleine Maschinenreparaturen bei einem lokalen Werk eines großen, weltweit agierenden Molkereiunternehmens zustande. Dieser Branche ist das Unternehmen bis heute treu geblieben. Maier Packaging (M°PAC) stellt selten komplette Form-, Füll- und Verschließanlagen her, vielmehr liegen die Schwerpunkte des Unternehmens im Umbau und der Optimierung bestehender Anlagen, im Bau von Einzelmodulen von FFV-Anlagen, in der Herstellung von Banderolier- und Etikettiersystemen, sowie dem Bau von Stanz- und Formwerkzeugen. In all diesen Bereichen legt sich das Unternehmen nicht auf bestimmte Maschinentypen oder Fabrikate nur eines Herstellers fest, sondern passt seine Stationen an die Besonderheiten der jeweiligen Tiefzieh- oder Füllmaschine an.
