MNDSA’s mission is to provide the best possible care for people living with MND. We are the go to organisation in South Australia for those affected by MND. We are focused on expanding information, support and advocacy services for the South Australian MND community. The Organisation's profile is rising within South Australia because of growing public awareness and our commitment to helping people live better for longer in the setting of their choice. Currently, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) has no effective treatment and no cure. Explaining to a person that they have MND has been described as the worst diagnosis a doctor has to give. With no nerves to activate them, the muscles of movement, speech, swallowing and breathing weaken and waste, and paralysis ensues. MND affects each person differently with respect to initial symptoms, rate and pattern of progression, and survival time. We staff MND Support Coordinators who are qualified health and community professionals with specific knowledge and experience related to MND. We provide information and support for people with MND, their families and carers as well as educating health professionals. Support Staff maintain contact with home visits, telephone and email. MND SA also staffs an Occupational Therapist for clients and a wide range of loan equipment including, but not limited to, wheelchairs and Communication devices. MNDSA provides opportunities for the community to come together at information sessions and events so that people know they are not alone. At any given time, we support over 150 clients because although sadly 4 – 6 people each month lose their battle with this awful disease, we are also contacted by 4 – 6 people recently diagnosed. Life expectancy varies from diagnosis however the average is twenty-seven months so time is of the essence for the people we serve. MNDSA relies on fundraising, donations and bequests as our main way of maintaining services for the majority of our community.

Motor On provides on-site, on-demand vehicle maintenance and fleet management services.

The Motor Sports Association (MSA) is the sole national governing body for four-wheel motor sport in the UK, as recognised by the world governing body, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The MSA is a not-for-profit organisation (limited by guarantee) comprising around 750 affiliated motor clubs, which are represented by 13 Regional Associations nationwide. The MSA represents approximately 30,000 competition licence holders and 9,500 volunteer marshals and officials, and issues permits for around 5,000 motor sport events every year.

The Motor Trade Association of South Australia (MTA) is the peak body for the automotive retail, service and repair sector in South Australia and is the only employer-based organisation in SA dedicated to protecting and preserving the interest of the automotive industry. The automotive industry is one of the most important in South Australia, with an annual turnover of about $2.8 billion and direct employment to 28,500 South Australians. The MTA represents and supports over 1100 Members across the SA, providing a number of services to help the automotive industry prosper and grow. We also employ and train over 900 automotive apprentices across SA. The MTA membership represents all sectors of automotive trades. Members abide by a strict Code of Conduct to ensure that are the professionals of the Industry. Our Vision: To be the respected leader in quality advocacy, training and services. The Motor Vehicle Retailers of Ontario (MVRO) has a long-standing history in the automotive industry, dating back to 1908. Based out of Markham, Ontario, MVRO works on behalf of new car and truck dealers with the government to create a lasting impact on the automotive industry. MVRO also works to educate prospective members and to build relationships between organizations within the industry and automotive educational institutions. MVRO was created as an amalgamation between the Toronto Automobile Dealers Association and the Ontario Automobile Dealers Association in 2012 to create the largest provincial dealers association in Canada. MVRO members generate and support 85,300 jobs and contribute $14 billion in GDP to Ontario’s economy every year.
