MYOC is a citizens'​ initiative that aims to revive our representative democracy through information and transparency. It does so by developing interactive and user-friendly online platforms gathering information on the candidates'​ programs during political campaigns and elections.

Siden etableringen i Danmark i 1999 har foreningen opfyldt mere end 2.200 ønsker for børn i Danmark med en livstruende sygdom med hjælp fra de ca. 140 frivillige over hele landet Make-A-Wish Danmark er en del af den internationale organisation Make-A-Wish Foundation International, der blev etableret i 1980 i USA. Make-A-Wish er i dag verdens største ønskeopfyldende humanitære organisation. Den har til dato opfyldt over 450.000 ønsker for børn i 50 lande udenfor USA takket være de mere end 40.000 frivillige på verdensplan. Make-A-Wish Danmark er medlem af ISOBRO - den danske brancheforening for humanitære organisationer. Vores økonomi er finansieret via vores medlemskontingent samt donationer, bidrag og sponsorater. Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas is a 501(c)(3) Our Mission: Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Children can be referred by a medical professional currently treating the child, the child's parents/guardians or the child him- or herself at mo.wish.org/refer. There is no cost to the family. Through the support of generous donors and volunteers, Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas is able to provide magical experiences to over 400 local children each year.

For Illinois children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 18 who are battling critical illnesses, Make-A-Wish Illinois works together with the community to create life changing wishes. Children can be referred by a medical professional currently treating the child, the child's parents/guardians or the child him- or herself. There is no cost to the family. Through the support of generous donors and volunteers, Make-A-Wish Illinois is able to provide hope, strength and transformation to hundreds of children each year. Make-A-Wish® grants the heartfelt wishes of children battling critical illnesses. A wish becomes a rallying point for themselves, their families, and friends. Research shows that children who have wishes granted build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight. In short, a wish delivers hope when it is needed the most. Make-A-Wish was inspired by a 7-year-old boy named Chris Greicius, who wanted to be a law enforcement officer. His wish set in motion a phenomenon that would create an unprecedented kind of charity that grants wishes to children battling critical illnesses every 34 minutes nationwide. Three years after Chris’ wish inspired the formation of the charity, the local chapter which now spans across 45 counties in Northeastern & Central California and Northern Nevada was founded in 1983. Since then, more than 8500 wishes have been granted to children in our communities. With the help of generous donors, community supporters and dedicated volunteers in all of our regions, our chapter is on track to grant more than 400 wishes this year, or one every 20 hours. The vision of Make-A-Wish is to grant the wish of every eligible child to bring hope, strength, and joy to them when they most need it and to give them a lifetime of happy memories. Wishes are more than just a nice thing to have – they are a need to have for a child battling a critical illness. Having the ability to grant wishes is truly transformational. This is what the power of a wish is all about.

Together with generous donors, supporters, staff and volunteers, Make-A-Wish delivers hope and joy to children and their families when they need it most. Make-A-Wish aims to bring the power of wishing to every child with a critical illness because wish experiences can help improve emotional and physical health. Since 1984, Make-A-Wish Central & South Texas has granted more than 6,500 wishes in the local community, contributing to the more than 375,000 wishes granted throughout the U.S. and its territories.
