Making of Champions Limited is a Sports Media & Management Company that was set up to elevate the profile and performance of Sports in Nigeria and the rest of Africa, and is dedicated to maximising the potential that sports has to bring the country, and the continent on a whole, together. The idea to set up a Sports Media & Management company to revive Nigerian Athletics was borne after London 2012, the first Olympics since 1988 that Nigeria had failed to win a single medal. Our mission at MoC is very simple – to Discover and Develop the Athletes in Africa who can Deliver medals on the global stage, from the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and beyond! MoC Track Club launched in 2016, with just 8 Athletes under the guidance of Olympic Medallists Deji Aliu and Uchenna Emedolu as Head Coaches in Lagos and Port-Harcourt respectively. In 2018, Olympic Medallist Glory Alozie has joined from Spain as Head Hurdles Coach, and MoC has over 30 Athletes in training, across Lagos, Port-Harcourt & Ibadan, who have collectively won 20 National Medals at Senior, Junior (U20) and Youth (U18) levels combined, with MoC's Joy Udo-Gabriel winning 6 International Medals for Nigeria in 2018 alone. We also launched Nigeria’s first ever Student-Athlete Scholarship in 2016, to provide our Athletes with a “full ride” to University in Nigeria and all the support they need to succeed in global Athletics – Tuition, Full Board, Accommodation, Healthcare, Physiotherapy, World Class Training & Competitions. In 2015, MoC launched the 1st ever Athletics Reality TV Show, Top Sprinter, which BBC Sportshour called the “X-Factor” for Sprinting. MoC was Title Sponsor of the 2017 National U20 & U18 Champs & hosted the 1st ever MoC Grand Prix in 2018! MoC Media has also helped to shape the global coverage of Nigerian Athletics, with on-location and online coverage of Team Nigeria at International Competitions such as the Olympics, World Champs, World Relays, Commonwealth Games & African Champs since 2014!
