For every piece of wooden furniture sold by the brand, a tree is planted by the institute in a conservation area owned by Mac, with an areas 46,500 m², the equivalent of about five hectares. Native trees of three different national biomes - Cerrado, Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Forest) and Pantanal (a wetland region) - are planted and cared for in the Itaquiraí Mato Grosso do Sul State headquarters. The project also involves a conservation breeding of wild animals and fish farming with the release into the Amambaí and Parana rivers.
