North Central State College is a public two-year community-based educational institution serving the residents of north central Ohio. The College offers high quality, technical education in more than 60 associate degree and certificate programs in Health, Business, Public Service, and Engineering Technologies, as well as customized workforce training programs.

Established in 1924 under the leadership of Texas community college pioneer Randolph Lee Clark, North Central Texas College is the oldest continuously operating public two-year college in the state. From its roots as a small, rural "junior"​ college — an extension of the local public schools actually — NCTC has grown and matured into a comprehensive, full-service community college of truly regional scope, serving students from six major campuses located across its service area. Mission Statement: North Central Texas College is dedicated to student success through institutional excellence. The College District fulfills its mission by offering programs leading to associate degrees and certificates and by providing: University Transfer Education, General Education, Career and Technical Education, Developmental Education, Student Development, Adult and Continuing Education, and Community Education.

The North Central Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council (NCTTRAC) is the administrative body responsible for trauma system oversight within the bounds of Trauma Service Area (TSA) C, D, & E in Texas. TSA C includes the following counties: Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, and Young. TSA D includes the following counties: Brown, Callahan, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Fisher, Haskell, Jones, Knox, Mitchell, Nolan, Shackelford, Stephens, Stonewall, Taylor, and Throckmorton. TSA E includes the following counties: Cooke, Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Rockwall, Somervell, Tarrant, and Wise. NCTTRAC stakeholders are comprised of hospital, pre-hospital, and other healthcare entities with an interest in improving and organizing trauma, acute, and emergency healthcare and preparedness in North Central Texas. To achieve this, NCTTRAC offers a platform for all industry related peer groups to come together to develop and provide the region with educational offerings, data collection & analysis, as well as performance improvement (PI). We PREPARE through research, education, injury and illness prevention, and emergency management. We SUPPORT through protocol development, resources, communications, and advocacy. We RESPOND to the needs of the emergency healthcare community, partners, and the State of Texas.
