North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) supports the IT needs of state government, K-12, and higher education. Because of the diverse needs of state entities, NDIT provides varied amounts of support to its customers. While some entities have their own IT departments that partner with NDIT for necessary services, others utilize NDIT for all their IT needs. In all situations, it’s NDIT’s vision is to be a leader and trusted business partner for strategic IT services within government and education. In addition to NDIT’s core service offerings, the organization houses or has representatives in a number of statewide alliances. Statewide alliances are programs made up of stakeholders from various government entities working towards a common goal. For example, the Educational Technology Council (ND ETC) is a state board responsible for developing technology systems and coordinating their use to enhance and support educational opportunities for elementary and secondary education. The board is made up of representatives from NDIT, the Department of Public Instruction, the University System, and the State Board of Career & Technical Education, among other stakeholders. Other statewide alliances include the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS), Graphic Information System Hub (GIS), and Health Information Technology (HIT).
The North Dakota Petroleum Council’s purpose is to provide governmental relations support to the more than 550+ companies it represents who are involved in all aspects of the oil and gas industry including oil and gas production, refining, pipeline, mineral leasing, consulting, legal work, and oil field service activities in North Dakota, South Dakota, and the Rocky Mountain region. The NDPC is also supported by members of the American Petroleum Institute (API) who have interests in North Dakota and South Dakota.

North Dakota soybean farmers across the state are represented on the North Dakota Soybean Council Board, which oversees a grass roots promotion, research and marketing program funded by soybean checkoff dollars. The Council’s mission is to effectively invest and leverage North Dakota soy checkoff resources to maximize the benefits of North Dakota soy. The Council is organized by North Dakota State law.

The North Dakota State College of Science is a two-year, comprehensive, residential college with a beautiful campus located in Wahpeton, N.D., and a second site, referred to as "NDSCS-Fargo" located on 19th Avenue North in Fargo, N.D. NDSCS offers degrees, certificates and diplomas in over 100 career pathways in traditional career and technical studies as well as the liberal arts. The college also offers a variety of distance education and online courses. Approximately 97% of graduates are employed or pursuing additional college education. Unlike most two-year colleges, NDSCS in Wahpeton boasts a university atmosphere for its students, complete with residence halls, 30+ affiliated clubs and organizations, music groups, theater productions, intercollegiate athletics, intramural athletics and numerous social activities.

The North Dakota Trade Office (NDTO) is dedicated to providing the North Dakota community with expertise and resources to grow business through trade. Founded in 2004 as a membership-based, private/public partnership, the NDTO assists its members in export expansion through education, research, and organization of trade missions, reverse missions and other educational and networking events. Additionally, the NDTO advocates on behalf of businesses that help strengthen the state’s economy through exports. The NDTO collaborates with a variety of trade service providers as well as state and federal partners to ensure that NDTO members and North Dakota exporters are set up for success in the global marketplace. The main office for the NDTO is located in Fargo, ND, with an additional office in Bismarck, ND.
