WE ARE THE CHURCH ON THE GO. NorthEast of the Well was incorporated in 2011 as an independent 501 c)3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to bring God's Word into places of desperate need, with a focus on those in recovery and restoration. As a Christian ministry, we strive to bring light into hard places: county programs, transitional living homes, shelters, safe houses, jails, etc. We are passionate and dedicated to finding and healing people in their brokenness. We serve a diverse body of women, men, and children committed to rebuilding their lives as followers of Christ. Walking alongside them, we empower each one to return to their community and guide them as they discover hope and freedom again. 75% of those we serve come from families where chronic addiction, incarceration, abuse and poverty go back two or more generations. Most have been through a series of recovery programs, have lost custody of children, have been repeatedly incarcerated, have been trafficked or used prostitution to support themselves. Virtually none would feel comfortable in a conventional church setting. We strive to disrupt the pattern of generational sin, to offer hope through the Gospel message and to come alongside these individuals as they learn to live in freedom. WE GO TO Outreach to programs, sober livings and safe houses throughout Orange County and Long Beach. WE GATHER IN Weekly community gatherings in Anaheim, Newport and Long Beach. WE GIVE BACK Our vision is simple: the outcast becomes the witness. We invest in discipleship and leadership.
