Our family-run business was established in 1932 by the grandfather of our current Managing Director, Howard Illingworth, whose three sons also work within the business, and has been serving the North of England for over 80 years.

Northern Film + Media is North East England’s creative industries development agency. We work with emerging professionals, indigenous filmmakers, production companies and artist filmmakers specializing in film, TV and screen-based arts, developing them through our Tees Valley Screen, North East Comedy Hot House, and NFM Academy projects. Through our Production Service we support regional commercial film and TV production, attracting inward investment by promoting the region as a production base.

Northern Football Federation is one of seven Federations of New Zealand Football and governs football in the Far North, Northland, Kaipara, Rodney, North Harbour and Waitakere regions. We are a non-profit making organisation with responsibility for managing and developing football throughout all of these regions. We have circa 15,000 members who compete in our Winter sports Competitions with steady annual growth of 3 3.5%. In 2017 we experienced excellent growth in the youth grades (13-17yrs) for boys and girls of 14% and a 16% increase in the overall number of female participants. We have increased our support beyond traditional winter football clubs into other community groups and have established two hubs for disability football in the Upper Harbour and Waitakere areas in partnership with Special Olympics NZ. Furthermore we have recently engaged a Community Development Officer: Ethnic Engagement to better support the changing demographics of our regional as well as our existing support for regionally based Ethkick football tournaments.

The Northern Football Netball League manages Australian Rules football and netball competitions in the Northern region of suburban Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The NFNL football profile includes both senior men's and women's competitions, as well as junior competitions for boys and girls. The netball profile includes 10 sections of open-age women's competitions in the winter season and three sections of open-age women's competitions in the summer season.
