NRCtech SA est une spin-off du Laboratoire de conception de systèmes mécaniques (LCSM) de l’Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Fondée en 2002 par Alain Schorderet, Dr Ing méc EPFL, NRCtech est basée au sein de l'​ Innovation Park de l'Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne afin de pouvoir servir efficacement ses clients et entretenir ses liens avec l'innovation technologique.
