Founded in 1984, the National Cristina Foundation promotes the reuse of technology to enable people with disabilities, veterans, underserved communities, and economically disadvantaged persons to be given the opportunity to lead more independent and productive lives. Donate your used computer today by visiting www.cristina.org, and this small gesture will have an immeasurable positive impact on someone's life. Your donated equipment, together with contributions from individuals and companies across the continent, will help close the digital divide and connect those in need with opportunity, community, and hope. NCF is proud to work with a network of roughly 1,300 nonprofit organizations across North America to not only help facilitate the donation of used computers to support their work, but also to provide end users with the skills needed to use those computers. This community, the Cristina Network, is working to close the digital divide in their own unique ways and in cities and towns nationwide. NCF also provides backbone support for the burgeoning national community of nonprofit technology refurbishers. The Alliance for Technology Refurbishing & Reuse (AFTRR) includes nearly 100 organizations doing incredible work from coast to coast. AFTRR members share ideas, collaborate, and are united in the fight to eliminate the digital divide. Based in New Hampshire, NCF is a fully remote nonprofit organization, with staff and board members hailing from across the United States.
