Nuevo Destino est une association humanitaire qui agit en faveur des familles honduriennes vivant dans la jungle et les quartiers pauvres de La Ceiba au Honduras Notre objectif premier est de promouvoir le développement social, urbain et local des familles vivant en situation d'extrême pauvreté. L’association vient également en aide aux enfants orphelins (la plupart ayant subi des abus physiques et/ou sexuels) afin de subvenir à leurs besoins primaires. Ceux-ci recouvrent principalement des besoins vitaux (se nourrir, se loger, se soigner) ainsi que l’accès aux savoirs fondamentaux (lire et écrire). ​ Afin de permettre à ces familles d’atteindre une autonomie et une autosuffisance durable, notre action s’oriente autour de 3 programmes qui nous paraissent essentiels : un programme alimentaire, un programme éducatif et un programme de développement.

Nuffield Australia awards scholarships agriculturalists to travel the globe, studying a topic of interest to themselves and of importance to industry. The program includes six weeks of group travel through the global powerhouses of agriculture, including countries such as China, India, Brazil, USA, Canada and through Europe. Scholars then travel for a further ten weeks on individual study, to research topic of interest to them and of value to industry.
