De la confection de tapis berbère sur-mesure, à la découverte de tapis berbères anciens, je vais à la rencontre de ces artistes afin de vous apporter chez vous, un bout de leur histoire. Numydi : c’est un retour aux sources, sur la terre de mes ancêtres. Une invitation à voyager vers des contrées où l’authentique est encore réalité. Une escapade loin des villes industrielles, comme Paris, la ville qui m’a vu naître. Originaire de la région de l’Anti-Atlas Marocain à Taznakht, mes voyages dans ce désert m’ont permis une immersion totale dans mes familles berbères et de découvrir un art de vivre, une culture, et un artisanat exceptionnel ! C’est ce que je souhaite vous transmettre à travers l’univers de Numydi. Chez Numydi, je vous propose principalement un « produit » qui a su traverser les siècles avec son histoire, ses symboles et toute sa beauté : le tapis berbère. Beni Ouarain, Boucherouites, Kilim, Zanafi et tant d’autres… Je vous proposerai ce que la région a le plus à offrir : des tapis uniques, chargés d’un héritage culturel fort et gorgés d’une créativité semblable à une œuvre d’art. Chez Numydi, je ne parle pas d’artisans quelconques… Mes partenaires sont des membres de ma famille, des amis d’enfance, des voisins, de nouvelles connaissances. Principalement des femmes qui m’ont vu grandir et qui continuent à me transmettre leur savoir-faire à travers toutes leurs bienveillances. Ce sont toutes ces mères, filles, sœurs, tantes, amies que nous voulions mettre en lumière à travers leurs créations et leurs forces. À travers cette gestion familiale, Numydi revendique l’artisanat berbère dans toute sa pluralité et assume un mode de fonctionnement qui assure un prix juste : juste pour elles (eux) et juste pour vous.
