The National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (NBLCA), founded in November 1987, is the oldest and largest not-for-profit organization of its kind in the United States. The NBLCA's mission is to educate, organize, and empower Black leadership, including clergy, elected officials, medical practitioners, business professionals, social policy experts, and the media to meet the challenge of fighting HIV/AIDS in their local communities. The NBLCA conducts policy, research and advocacy on HIV and AIDS to ensure effective participation of our leadership in all policy and resource allocation decisions at the national, state and local levels of communities of African descent nationwide.

The National Blood Authority (NBA) was established by the National Blood Authority Act 2003 (NBA Act) following the National Blood Agreement being signed by all Australian Health Ministers in 2002. As a material statutory agency, the NBA has a range of corporate and compliance responsibilities under the NBA Act, the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act) and the Public Service Act 1999. In addition, it is responsible for meeting ministerial, parliamentary and financial reporting requirements.

The National Blues Museum project is a 501(c)3 organization designed to explore the blues and celebrate the genre as the root of all modern American music through educational programs and a proposed museum in downtown St. Louis. The unique cultural attraction will feature a collection of technology- and artifact-driven exhibits as well as a theater, classroom, event space and a variety of public programs.
