NB Private Capital, LLC is a student housing investment company located in the metropolitan area of Aliso Viejo situated in south Orange County, California. Founded by Brian Nelson, Principal and Founder of the company and previously a founder of Nelson Brothers Professional Real Estate, our strategy is simple. We try to understand what investors are looking for and what they value most; then strive to find exceptional opportunities that best align with those goals. It is with this mindset that directed Brian towards the growing and popular niche of student housing. It is our belief that well-located properties near major universities have the ability to offer a variety of potential benefits that matter to investors: monthly cash flow, stable performance, inflation-friendly, appreciation, and tax efficiency through depreciation. All of these advantages can be offered from a brick-and-mortar asset anchored by the historical stability of a university with strong demographics. Since moving to its new headquarters in 2018, the company currently manages over $470 million in assets and owns 19 properties in 11 states. The firms investments will be primarily geared to income-seeking investors who enjoy the simplicity of 1031 exchanges in a DST structure. Brian and his team of 15 employees have more than 20+ years of experience in real estate and investment syndications.
