The mission of the Nicholas Academic Centers is to provide support to underserved high school students to improve their academic performance, achieve their full scholarly and social potential, promote their admission to colleges and universities, retention, and graduation, and to impart the skills and knowledge necessary for them to live successful and productive lives. To fulfill its mission, the NAC implements a myriad of strategies: tutoring services that address the needs of the high school student population, academic support and advisement throughout students high school years, counseling to resolve independent, familial, and community issues and conflicts, and assistance with the higher education process, i.e. standardized tests, applications, financial aid, selection, enrollment, and attendance.

Founded in 1991, Nicholas King Homes has developed over 2,000 houses and apartments in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Hertfordshire and London. During the last 26 years we have completed a wide range of developments ranging from schemes of a small number of significant detached luxury homes to two, three and four bedroom family homes and also apartment developments. Typically our developments are 10 – 50 homes: our smallest development has been two houses and our largest 286 apartments. Our developments often include a provision for social housing. We have also built mixed use schemes working alongside Tesco’s, Sainsbury’s or Waitrose, as well as sometimes providing new offices, retail showrooms or restaurants.
