Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology(NMIT), Bangalore, established in 2001 and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, is now a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru, since October 2024. The Vision of Nitte School of Architecture, Planning & Design Bangalore is to mould every student into role model in designing, planning, research and education which facilitate development, growth and productivity on regional, national and global levels. This is realized by exploring the full potential of Architecture, Design and Planning on all students and stake holders through an elaborate curriculum and step by step evaluation.

Nittfest is the annual inter-departmental cultural extravaganza of National Institute of Technology, Trichy. Founded in 1993 as a dance competition, it has now grown to encompass 75+ events, with active participation from the 6000-strong student community on campus. It is the perfect platform for emotions to run wild, talents to take centre-stage and fun to reach a new high. The event usually lasts for 4 days, between March and April every year.
