Nomad Sailing have yachts based in Gosport for the practical sailing courses and also deliver the full range of RYA shore based sail training courses in classrooms in London and the South-East. These include Day Skipper Theory, Yachtmaster / Coastal Skipper Theory, CEVNI, Essential Seamanship and Navigation and Professional Practices and Responsibilities (PPR). Each theory or practical sailing course is structured and adapted to suit the learning needs of the student. Each stage of the RYA cruising scheme the syllabus progression is designed to make sure you are equipped with the full range of navigation and sailing skills required to take to sea, and enable you to skipper a boat by day or night. Once you have gained the basic experience and are a competent crew member, you will probably want to advance you sailing skills and learn how to skipper a boat by completing the Royal Yachting Association Day Skipper Course. This qualification and certificate will enable you to fulfil that dream of one day being the skipper of a yacht that you have either bought or chartered for a sailing holiday.
