Community Action Agencies work to alleviate poverty and empower low-income families in their communities. Community Action changes people’s lives, embodies the spirit of hope, improves communities, and makes America a better place to live. We care about the entire community, and we are dedicated to helping people help themselves and each other. The Ohio Association of Community Action Agencies represents 48 agencies around the state serving the needs of low-income people in all of Ohio’s 88 counties. CAAs provide education and training, emergency services, and other assistance programs to nearly 800,000 Ohioans annually.

The Ohio Beef Council (OBC) is a non-profit 501(c)(5) organization charged with the promotion and marketing of beef and beef products in Ohio. Checkoff dollars are used to increase beef demand through programs of promotion, research and education. The organization is directed by a 15-member Operating Committee of cattlemen appointed by the Ohio Director of Agriculture, representing the state's beef and veal producers.

The Ohio Capital Corporation for Housing (OCCH) is a nonprofit financial intermediary based in Columbus, Ohio that works with private and public developers to create affordable housing opportunities. OCCH leverages private capital for the construction, rehabilitation and preservation of affordable housing. We believe that through providing affordable housing enhanced by supportive services, we can build sustainable communities that provide opportunities and empowerment in the lives of our residents. OCCH has raised over $5.3 billion in private capital and invested in over 53,000 units of affordable housing in over 900 developments. OCCH has a lending arm, the Ohio Capital Finance Corporation (OCFC), which offers products such as predevelopment and acquisition loans to enable affordable housing development. Since its creation in 2002, OCFC has made over 675 loans totaling $583 million in production to assist in the creation, rehabilitation and/or preservation of more than 29,105 affordable housing units. OCCH created Community Properties of Ohio Management Services (CPO) in 2003 for the specific purpose of turning around a troubled portfolio of over 1,000 affordable units spread around seven Columbus neighborhoods. After a $100 million renovation effort, CPO continues to stabilize and maintain the portfolio with a hybrid of real estate management and focused supportive services. Leveraging their management expertise, CPO currently manages over 2,900 units, including units for OCCH partners. OCCH created Ohio Capital Impact Corporation (OCIC) as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to extend the mission of OCCH through creative and transformative philanthropic investments. These resources are granted to partners working creatively to improve life outcomes for residents of affordable housing communities where OCCH has investments. Since 2012, OCCH has raised over $25 million for OCIC initiatives.

The Commission was created to provide oversight of casino gaming in the State of Ohio. Its responsibilities have expanded to include sports gaming, skill-based amusement machines and fantasy contests. Commission staff are spread among five office locations - including 24/7 coverage at the state's 4 casinos. All employees work to fulfill the Commission's mission to ensure the integrity of Ohio's gaming industry through licensing, compliance and enforcement activities.

As the state’s leading business advocate and resource, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce aggressively champions free enterprise, economic competitiveness and growth for the benefit of all Ohioans. With 8,000 members ranging from small businesses to international companies, the Ohio Chamber of Commerce is the voice of business at the Statehouse. Founded in 1893, the Ohio Chamber is one of the state’s oldest business organizations. The Ohio Chamber is led by a volunteer board of directors that consists of 66 business leaders from all over the state. Our staff of 19 people includes lobbyists, political experts, membership specialists and knowledgeable support staff. The Ohio Chamber staff promotes the Chamber’s pro-business agenda with Ohio’s elected officials and manages membership services that help Chamber members run their businesses.

Ohio Citizens for the Arts is a member-driven, not-for-profit, grass roots arts advocacy organization working to benefit the citizens of Ohio. Our mission is to increase funding and public support for the arts through advocacy, education and engagement.

Ohio Coatings Company (OCC) is a world-class producer of tin plate steel. Our 130,000 square foot production facility is an industry model of maximum efficiency in electrolytic tin plate manufacturing. From the foundation up, the plant is state-of-the art, computer controlled, and monitored. Each station along the continuous 550 foot line significantly contributes to the quality and integrity of the finished coil. What started as just an idea in 1992 is now an important, world-wide resource for premium electrolytic tin plate, and the leader in an industrial revolution in the art and science of tin plate production. Now in its 23rd year of operation, the OCC family has hit its stride with the capability to produce 300,000 tons per year of the highest quality tin plate.
