OPTIC is an international network of research and innovation dedicated to ethical issues of disruptive technologies. OPtic bases his work on an explicit Christian point of view on anthropology. We believe that disruptive technologies can greatly improve the living conditions in many areas subject to putting it at the service of humans and of common good. The OPTIC network was launched in 2012 in Rome, Italy. It was initiated by the Catholic Order of Preachers, the Dominicans, but it remains autonomous in the choice of the subject of the research undertaken. Its action is rooted in an age-old tradition of dialogue between science and wisdom. The Human Technology Foundation was founded in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Its Strategic Board of Directors is chaired by HE Prince Nicholas of Liechtenstein and its Executive Committee is chaired by Br. Eric Salobir O.P. The Foundation provides advice and support to Optic.
