Our mission is to meet practical needs in Orangevale and Fair Oaks by creating opportunities for generosity and selflessness. We believe our community will be best when it is giving and serving together. The Community Foundation of Orangevale and Fair Oaks was launched in 2015. The Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank was established in 2011 under another non-profit entity. As it matured and grew, it required its own non-profit status. As such, the Community Foundation was established and now oversees the Orangevale Food Bank. The food bank is just one of many community assets that our team hopes to create over the next many years. As you’ll see below, there are many more great ideas and great vision for a better community. We hope to gather like-minded leaders in Orangevale and Fair Oaks to build upon the great work of the Orangevale-Fair Oaks Food Bank.

We exist to share God’s love in our community by providing food, resources and hope to families in need. As an organization, we hope to make a positive impact in the Orangevale community by providing basic food and resources to families. But we also expect to facilitate participation from people within our community to help improve the lives of families in need through community outreach events, volunteering, food and clothing drives, and connecting people through a common purpose. Orangevale Food Bank was formed by several members of the community in Orangevale working diligently to lay the groundwork for a local food bank and family resource center. In our current economy, several hundred families struggle each month to provide basic food for their families. The Orangevale Food bank rallies the community behind these families to help them during these difficult times. The Orangevale Food Bank exists to bridge the gap for those families, and provide assistance temporarily while they work toward meeting these needs in their own.

The Orangeville Food Bank is an organization of volunteers that help families in need with an emergency supply of food. Donate at most local grocery stores

Orangewood Academy is a pre-school to 12 grade Seventh-day Adventist School, in Garden Grove, CA. It was establish in 1896 and it has been at this present location since 1956.
