ORPHELIA Pharma is a French pharmaceutical company based in Paris and Lyon that develops and markets medicines for the treatment of pediatric orphan diseases. ORPHELIA Pharma‘s mission is to provide patients with essential products in the fields of epilepsy and pediatric oncology, with formulations adapted to the pediatric population. With one drug approved in the European Union and one product in late-stage clinical development, ORPHELIA Pharma has recently established regional agreements in the European Union, the USA and China and conducts research projects through academic and industrial partnerships.

With a rich history spanning 50 years, the Orpheus Choir of Toronto has since earned the distinction of being one of Toronto’s preeminent choral groups. Founded in 1964 by organist John Sidgwick, who also served as its first artistic director, the Orpheus Choir was created to provide an alternative to the traditional choral fare of the times and introduce Toronto audiences to a rich new world of choral music. With a wide-ranging repertoire of music ranging from secular to sacred, time-honoured classics to experimental works, choral collaborations and forays into multimedia performances, it’s only fitting that the Orpheus Choir’s mantra is “Expect Something Different”. There is truly something for everyone and it this sort of musical diversity— coupled along with a high degree of technical mastery and beautiful choice of pieces— that has enthralled audiences for over 45 years and will keep it doing so for decades to come.

Located amidst the glistening waters of the Great Barrier Reef, Orpheus Island Lodge is a rare island hideaway accommodating just 28 indulged guests. Orpheus showcases a plethora of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Its local dive and snorkel sites boast 1,100 of the 1,500 species of fish on the reef , 340 of the 359 varieties of hard corals and some of the region's largest collections of soft corals; the turquoise local waters are a fisherman's playground and home to the most sought-after reef species in the world; guests can take the helm of a motorised dinghy, complete with gourmet picnic hamper, and discover the many pristine private coves that fringe Orpheus; or they can succumb to a unique indigenous-inspired treatment at the day spa. Not to be missed is the island's signature 'Dining with the Tides' experience; an intimate degustation dinner under a starlit canopy on the lodge's jetty. Access to Orpheus Island Lodge is via a 30-minute helicopter journey from Townsville.

Orpheus is developing a data driven, dynamic technology stack for the travel insurance industry. Funded by 1Cover Insurance, it intends to build software to massively improve the way companies can interact with their customers, and in the process improve customer service, retention and profitability. Development work is in Java using cloud based platforms.

This facilitates access to diverse patient populations and rapid enrollment to clinical trials supporting our projects and significantly shortens the duration of individual phases.
