Die ORS-Gruppe besteht aus Österreichische Rundfunksender GmbH & Co KG (ORS) und ihrer Tochtergesellschaft ORS comm GmbH & Co KG (ORS comm). Die ORS entstand Anfang 2005 aus der Sendetechnik des ORF und steht zu 60 Prozent im Eigentum des ORF und zu 40 Prozent im Eigentum der zur Raiffeisen-Gruppe zählenden Medicur Sendeanlagen GmbH. 2012 wurde die simpli services GmbH & Co KG als Tochterunternehmen zur Verbreitung des TV Produktes simpliTV gegründet. ORSAY PHYSICS (création : 1989, CA : 10 à 14 M€ dont 98% à l’international, 62 personnes) conçoit et produit des colonnes à faisceaux d’ions et d’électrons focalisés (FIB/SEM column), des plateformes intégrées UHV FIB-SEM (NanoSpace), ainsi que des équipements associés tels que des détecteurs d’électrons secondaires, des systèmes d’injection de gaz (GIS), etc… La capacité de l’entreprise à s'adapter rapidement aux besoins de clients industriels comme académiques lui a permis de devenir un des leaders mondiaux dans son domaine, avec des équipements développés «à la carte», et compatibles UHV (Ultra High Vacuum). ORSAY PHYSICS se positionne ainsi en concepteur-constructeur d'équipements sophistiqués, fabriqués en série avec de strictes exigences de qualité. Grâce à une activité de R&D importante et régulière (entre 15 à 20% du CA annuel, 45% de l’effectif), elle dispose aujourd’hui d’un portfolio de plus d’une douzaine de familles de produits différents tous conçus et fabriqués en interne.
