WE RECYCLE For more than 20 years, OrthoMetals recycles all metals remaining after cremation. We collect, sort and recycle the metals ourselves to ensure a respectful and secure process. WE GUARANTEE OrthoMetals guarantees a transparent and solid process of metal recycling. With ISO9001 & ISO14001 certification we can guarantee quality and personal attention. WE CARE With our recycling work, we support charity together. The revenues are used by participating crematoria to donate to local or national charities. ORTHOMETALS RECYCLES ALL METALS REMAINING AFTER CREMATION. Founded in 1997 the combination of an innovative idea and experience resulted in an perfect solution: the recycling of metals remaining after cremation. Since then OrthoMetals has proven its recycling concept and is active in over 20 countries worldwide with more than 1000 crematoria participating. COLLECTION OrthoMetals provides a complete recycling solution dedicated for crematoria. This includes both non-ferrous and ferrous metals, as well as orthopedic and dental implants and other metals. We collect all recovered metals at the crematoria. The actual sorting and recycling takes place at our own sorting facility in The Netherlands. Our complete process takes place under strict ISO9001 & ISO14001 certification and mandatory country specific licenses. That way we can guarantee the best result for the participating crematoria. SORTING The collected metals are weighed on the collection truck at the crematorium and we leave signed paperwork. After we finish the pick-up round, we return to our sorting facility in The Netherlands. The sorting process is operated per crematorium, to ensure complete transparency. Throughout the sorting process, the metals are weighed and administered. SMELTING At our partner foundries, the sorted metals are smelted for re-use.
