OrtoRomi è una Società Cooperativa Agricola, nata nel 1996 dal sogno di due imprenditori agricoli - Elio Pelosin e Rino Bovo - esperti nella coltivazione di prodotti ortofrutticoli. In pochi anni, l’alta qualità e l’alto livello di servizio dei prodotti sono stati riconosciuti e premiati dal mercato: con un fatturato che supera i 100 milioni di euro (2020), oggi OrtoRomi è uno dei primari player italiani nel mercato delle insalate di qualità già lavate, delle zuppe e dei piatti pronti, e degli estratti freschi di frutta e verdura. Sotto la guida del Presidente Rino Bovo e del Vicepresidente Giuseppe Senese, la cooperativa unisce 10 soci (9 Aziende agricole e la Cooperativa Co.Ve.Ca.A. presieduta da Elio Pelosin). OrtoRomi dispone di 2 stabilimenti di produzione all’avanguardia, uno a Borgoricco in provincia di Padova ed uno a Bellizzi in provincia di Salerno che lavorano le materie prime conferite dalle 49 Aziende Agricole presenti su tutto il territorio nazionale. Si avvale della collaborazione di circa 700 persone e l’intera filiera coinvolta impegna circa 1100 lavoratori.
