OCD-foreningen er en patientforening for OCD-ramte og pårørende. Vi arbejder for at fremme kendskabet til og forståelse for OCD hos OCD-ramte, pårørende samt læger og forskere m.v. Mere specifikt arbejder OCD-foreningen for: • at alle OCD-patienter bliver guidet til specialiseret behandling/genbehandling – enten via privatpraktiserende psykologer eller via psykiatrien • at tilskuddet til psykologbehandling følger patienten, så den syge kan bruge det til specialiseret behandling – uanset om behandleren har overenskomst med sygesikringen eller ej • at der gives tilskud til det nødvendige antal behandlinger – og ikke til et bestemt antal • at aldersgrænsen i forhold til tilskud til behandling hos privatpraktiserende psykologer fjernes • at der i OCD-pakkeforløbene gives et større antal egentlige terapitimer, så patienterne ikke stresses i behandlingsforløbet, fordi de løber tør for terapitimer • at der i forbindelse med OCD-pakkeforløbene er mulighed for nogle timers opfølgning på behandlingen og at der gives mulighed for genbehandling, uden den OCD-ramte skal igennem med ny henvisning fra egen læge
