The Pikes Peak Board of Cooperative Educational Services is a unique educational organization founded in 1968. It primarily serves 14 school districts in the Pikes Peak Region of Colorado, but offers some of its services statewide. The Pikes Peak BOCES is an invaluable asset to local school districts in finding ways to best use educational dollars effectively without diminishing special education, federal programs and other programs vital to the education of our young people.

Our origin dates back to 1928 with the creation of the Colorado Springs Community Trust by visionary citizens who believed that the Pikes Peak region needed a way to build a permanent charitable endowment to improve the quality of life in our community. Today, we still believe we can all help to build a better community. To achieve that, we have to continue to give back in a way that makes a difference for others. We’re not talking about putting away some funds just in case we encounter tough times down the road. And we’re not talking about a “money–in, money–out” approach to covering our day-to-day operating expenses.
