The Pittsburgh Business Group on Health (PBGH) is an employer-led, non-profit, coalition of large, mid-size and small employers representing various business segments, including private and public employers, government and academia. Together, PBGH represents more than 100 organizations, over 1.2 million covered lives and more than $5 billion in health care costs. In the early 80s, the Pittsburgh business community believed that by working together, they could make a positive impact and drive change in the costs and delivery of health care. Twenty-one companies formed the Pittsburgh Business Group on Health to address issues facing large and midsize employers in the Pittsburgh region. While there has been progress in the quality and delivery of healthcare, rising health care costs continue to challenge most employers. Having influenced changes over the years, PBGH will continue to pursue its mission to promote education, collaboration, and innovation among members, and in the community, to drive and deliver value and quality in health care and benefits.

The Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation (PLF) is a faith-based, not-for-profit organization that was founded over forty years ago out of love for the city of Pittsburgh. PLF is honored to be a founding member of Leadership Foundations, Inc., a worldwide group of organizations developing leaders to “drive the wheel of change in their cities." In our early years, the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation helped to establish dozens of other not-for-profits that are still making a profound difference in the lives of people throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. In our recent years, we have recognized that the greatest ongoing contribution of PLF is to equip, connect and mobilize leaders of our city for the common good. We equip leaders through two faith-based leadership development experiences - the Leaders Collaborative (LC) and the Emerging Leaders Collaborative (ELC). We connect leaders through Pittsburgh Prays. We mobilize leaders to address food insecurity in our city through Amen to Action food packing events. When you donate to PLF, you are helping to equip, connect and mobilize leaders from every sphere of influence in our city for the common good. Thank you for your generosity over the decades that has enabled the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation to be a catalyst for good in our amazing city of Pittsburgh!
