Diese Idee ist bis heute Grundlage der Tätigkeit der Coagulation Division von Plasmaconcept. Im Jahr 2007 erweiterte die Plasmaconcept AG ihr Tätigkeitsspektrum um die Orthopaedics Division. Seit Beginn des Engagements in diesem Geschäftsfeld ist das Unternehmen kontinuierlich gewachsen, hat das Produktsortiment ausgebaut und innovative Produkte zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualität von Patienten im Markt etabliert. Die Zentrale des Unternehmens sitzt heute in Köln und verfügt über ein bundesweit flächendeckendes Beraterteam für seine Kunden.
