The PMSA – Presbyterian and Methodist Schools Association – owns four outstanding Queensland schools: Brisbane Boys'​ College, Clayfield College, Somerville House and Sunshine Coast Grammar School as well as an outdoor education and experiential learning destination, Rising Peaks at Lake Moogerah. Established in 1918, the PMSA is a joint mission of the Uniting Church of Australia, Queensland Synod and the Presbyterian Church of Queensland. One hundred years on, the PMSA is a financially strong, not-for-profit organisation that plays a vital role in setting the direction of these outstanding schools and is the connecting link between the schools and the two churches. The PMSA’s mission is to provide outstanding teaching and learning environments for our students and staff in schools built on Christian teachings. PMSA schools enable students to: - achieve personal excellence, - live a fulfilling and satisfying life, and - make a meaningful contribution to family and society. Today through our schools, the PMSA has enrolments of almost 5000 students and employs almost 1000 staff. The PMSA is a run by a Board of 13 board members - five are each appointed by the Presbyterian and Uniting Churches while three are appointed by the PMSA Board. The PMSA Board is supported by three committees, a School Council at each school and the PMSA corporate office.

Prefeitura Municipal de Santa Cruz do Sul Santa Cruz do Sul é um dos principais núcleos da colonização alemã do Rio Grande do Sul. A colônia foi fundada por lei provincial em 6 de dezembro de 1847.7 Os primeiros habitantes da cidade vieram dos distantes lugares das regiões do Reno e da Silésia, em 1849. As terras ocupadas pela colônia de Santa Cruz do Sul foram cedidas pelo governo imperial através da lei de 1848 de incentivo à imigração estrangeira.8 Os imigrantes se estabeleceram na Colônia Picada Velha, hoje conhecida como Linha Santa Cruz. A povoação iniciou em 1849, no local então chamado de Faxinal de João Maria, em terras do barão de Cambaí, com a instalação de cinco famílias alemãs.7 O primeiro diretor foi Johann Martin Buff. Apesar da maioria dos imigrantes serem agricultores, muitos eram artesãos foram instalados na colônia, como por exemplo, de um grupo de 71 chefes de família chegados à colônia de Santa Cruz em 1853, constavam 25 artesãos e 46 agricultores.8 A colônia cresceu rapidamente: em 1849 havia 12 habitantes; em 1852 eram 254, e em 1853 ocorreu um incremento de 692 pessoas; em 1859 haviam 2723 habitantes.8 A região logo tornou-se um centro da produção de fumo.8 Entre 1859 e 1881 a produção do fumo passou de 14 toneladas 1.552 toneladas em 1881, tornado-se o principal produto para a exportação, com 95% de sua safra exportada para outras localidades.8 A cidade foi oficialmente fundada em 31 de março de 1877, emancipada de Rio Pardo pela lei nº 1079. No dia 28 de setembro de 1878, instalou-se a Câmara Municipal na casa situada na esquina das ruas São Pedro e Taquarembó (atuais Marechal Floriano e 28 de Setembro). A sessão de posse foi presidida pelo vereador Joaquim José de Brito (Ten. Cel. Brito), mas na primeira ordinária, dia 15 de outubro, a presidência já foi exercida por Carlos Trein Filho. O novo município contava então com 10 mil habitantes.

Based on more than 40 years of ongoing research, it promotes social skills and prevents, reduces and reverses the development of moderate to severe conduct problems in children and youth. Since the first implementation in Norway in 1999, GenerationPMTO has been shared with more than 50,000 families from all socioeconomic backgrounds, cultures, and family types throughout the world. This has resulted in a wide variety of rich and nuanced experiences with diverse families including numerous social, cultural, economic, religious, and other identities. Several hundred trained professionals teach GenerationPMTO techniques to parents in the U.S.— in New York, Missouri, Michigan, Minnesota, Kansas, Oregon, and Utah—and internationally in Norway, Iceland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Canada, Mexico, and Uganda. Intervention has been provided to individual families, in parent groups, and through telehealth delivery and has been adapted for child welfare and other populations with trauma issues.
