We empower our members to reach their individual exercise goals one workout at a time. Our classes utilize an integrative approach to training, which strengthens both muscles and ligaments so imbalances can be rehabilitated and results can be sustained. Each of our classes features a different focus and interval length which all cycle through our 3 stations of: Strength, Functional Movement, and Cardio (treadmill run/walk). We offer (and encourage) modifications because working smarter always beats re-injuring yourself. All intensities are given the same respect. We will yell with you, but never at you. We are not here to compare you to others in the class, because you're a bad ass no matter how strong you are, or used to be.  Our classes are easy to follow and curate to your preference and goal. You can go hard, or you can go easy. Either way, you will always leave feeling better than when you came. All you gotta do is show up.

The first Pok-e-Jo's Smokehouse, located on North Burnet Road in Austin, Texas was founded by University of Texas graduates . Unhappy with other BBQ joints, they set out to perfect their own recipes and rubs through countless samplings of ribs and brisket, and convinced Joe's grandma to share her prized potato salad recipe. Before long, their business was smoking. Doug honed his restaurant skills at a few famous Dallas BBQ joints and turned Pok-e-Jo's into one of the best BBQ places in Austin. Porky's son, Danny Haberman joined the expanding business soon after the original Burnet Road location was condemned to make way for Mopac Highway. Danny helped develop the company's burgeoning catering business. Within three years, Pok-e-Jo's opened two more locations, Years have passed since the first plate of BBQ was served, yet the same values of hard work and top quality meats have not changed. The popular side dishes, many of which are family recipes or have evolved from trial and error, are still made fresh every morning.
