A Escola Polimig tem uma ampla historia, desde 1964 tem oferecido e treinado alunos nas áreas técnicas, dos seguimentos da mecânica, eletrônica, eletrotécnica e manutenção de aeronaves. Além dos cursos técnicos o Colégio Vital Brasil oferece Cursos Fundamentais e também o curso Técnico de Segurança do Trabalho. A Escola Polimig nasceu como Escola Infantil Chapeuzinho Vermelho, em 1968 e passou a Ginásio Comercial Jorge Abrão. Já Em 1975, com autorização de funcionamento de habilitações profissionais no ensino médio – nível técnico e auxiliares, passou a denominar-se Escola Politécnica de Minas Gerais – POLIMIG. Em 1985, foi construído o Centro Tecnológico Polimig, local de funcionamento dos laboratórios e oficinas principais do colégio. Em 1990 anexou em seu sistema a Escola Técnica Vital Brasil com os cursos de Mineração, Metalurgia, Segurança do Trabalho e, em 1992 o Colégio Renascença com o Curso de Contabilidade. Hoje a Escola polimig oferece os seguintes cursos: Ensino Fundamental (1ª à 9ª série), Ensino Médio Profissionalizante e Cursos Técnicos de: Mecânica, Eletrônica, Eletrotécnica, Química, Manutenção de Aeronaves, Informática, Mecatrônica. Massimiliano Giornetti, Director After graduating in Fashion Design at Polimoda in collaboration with the London College of Fashion, Massimiliano Giornetti began his career in Haute Couture in Rome alongside designer and Polimoda alumnus Anton Giulio Grande, starting in the Men's division of Salvatore Ferragamo in July 2000 and subsequently taking over creative direction four years later. In 2010, he took on the Women's ready-to-wear collection, thus becoming the first Creative Director of Ferragamo and holding the role for sixteen years. He became Polimoda’s Head of Fashion Design Department in 2019 and was named Director of the school in February 2021.  Linda Loppa, Advisor of Strategy and Vision Linda Loppa, Polimoda’s Advisor of Strategy and Vision, has over 40 years’ experience in the fashion industry, and over 25 specialized in education.
