The Palm Beach County Bar Association (PBCBA), founded in 1922, is a voluntary professional association of 2,600 lawyers & judges in Palm Beach County. The mission of the PBCBA is to serve its members, foster professionalism and enhance the public’s understanding and awareness of the legal system. We are very active in providing numerous public service activities and giving back to the community. We also send out weekly informational eNewsletters that keep the legal community updated on recent Court news and other events taking place in our legal community.

The Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's Office is responsible for determining fair and equitable values on all real and tangible property and administer exemptions in Palm Beach County. There are 640,000 real property parcels and nearly 60,000 tangible personal property accounts valued at a total market value of $264 billion. Our mission is to produce a timely and acceptable assessment roll for the County that meets all the state statutory requirements. In addition, it's our duty to provide the most accurate information to the taxpayers through the efforts of a highly skilled and dedicated staff. The Palm Beach County Sports Commission is a private, not-for-profit organization contracted by Palm Beach County to promote and market the County as a sports and sports tourism destination. The Commission brings sporting events and activities to the County, enhances economic impact, stimulates bed tax revenues (with a focus on the off-season), and maximizes utilization of County facilities. Each year, the events we support are responsible for thousands of sports visitors to Palm Beach County - sleeping in our hotels, utilizing our facilities, enjoying our attractions and eating in our restaurants.

The third largest water utility department in the State of Florida, the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) provides drinking water and wastewater collection services to nearly 600,000 residents in the central and south-central unincorporated areas of the County as well as the western communities. In addition to five water treatment plants, the Southern Region Wastewater Reclamation Facility and wastewater treatment plants in Belle Glade and Pahokee, we also operate the Wakodahatchee Wetlands, which was named the Best Park in the State of Florida by Money Magazine in 2018.
