Le Port Autonome de Kribi en abrégé « PAK », est une société à capital public, dont la mission principale est d’assurer la gestion, la promotion et le marketing du Port de Kribi. ​ Grâce à ses infrastructures de premier ordre, dont notamment des quais fondés à -15 mètres de profondeur, le Port de Kribi est capable d’accueillir des navires d’une envergure inédite en Afrique occidentale et centrale. Il dispose en outre d’outils modernes et performants, notamment en matière d’aide à la navigation, et de manutention. Conformément au cadre législatif et règlementaire portuaire national, le Port de Kribi a recruté des opérateurs privés à la réputation et à l’expertise reconnues internationalement, afin d’assurer la qualité des prestations rendues. La combinaison de la qualité des infrastructures et du savoir-faire des opérateurs retenus, devrait garantir, aux navires et aux marchandises transitant dans ce port de 3ème génération, un service aux meilleurs standards internationaux. Le PAK devrait jouer un rôle prépondérant dans l’économie Camerounaise. Les pôles d’activités qui se dévellopperont autour de l’infrastructure portauaire seront porteuses de richesses et d’emplois.A cet effet, environ 5 000 emplois directs et indirects sont projetés, ceci devrait contribuer à améliorer les conditions de vies des populations et par le même effet dévelloper les services et infrastructures sociaux
