Erhvervsskolernes Forlag er Danmarks førende leverandør af læremidler, rekvisitter, information og websites til erhvervs- og arbejdsmarkedsuddannelserne. Vi arbejder konsekvent med at udvikle en lang række produkter, der er målrettet til elever, studerende, kursister og undervisere, og som rammer plet hver gang hverken mere eller mindre. Ideen bag virksomheden går helt tilbage til år 1900, hvor den første udgivelse så dagens lys. Skolerne indså, at de havde brug for et fælles forlag for at få adgang til et ensartet undervisningsmateriale, som kunne bruges over hele landet. Derfor skabte de Erhvervsskolernes Forlag som en selvejende institution med det formål at tilbyde skolerne tidssvarende læremidler, rekvisitter og informationsmaterialer af høj kvalitet.

Mensen helpen bij het maken; dat doen we al sinds 1978. In dat jaar openden we onze eerste winkel in Venlo. Nu zijn we uitgegroeid tot een van de grootste bouwmarkten in Nederland, met 150 winkels. 98% Van de Nederlanders kent Praxis. Daar zijn we trots op! In 1997 openden we als eerste bouwmarkt in Nederland een Megastore. Daar hebben we er inmiddels 32 van, waarvan 16 winkels ook een tuincentrum hebben. In totaal heeft Praxis ruim 3.800 medewerkers, die iedere dag onze klanten helpen bij het maken. Bij Praxis staat de klant centraal. Daarin maken onze medewerkers het verschil. Wij verwachten van onze medewerkers dat ze open, actief en positief zijn en echte teamspelers zijn. Medewerkers die trots zijn om bij Praxis te werken en onze toekomst succesvol willen vorm geven.
