Advance Pressure Management and Control (APMC) is an advanced initiative, designed to manage and sustain water pressure in a District Monitoring Zone or Area to reduce head losses as well as contribute to the reduction of NRW levels in the water supply system. Added advantages of APMCTM include a optimised water pressure, lower leakage frequency, less pipe burst frequency and more even water pressure throughout the system. Furthermore, with the support and backing of the parent companies, PWS ventures are not limited to APMC but also to provide a holistic approach to NRW issues. These include application of a variety of technologies, systems and initiatives with a single goal: "To manage, Control and Reduce NRW".
