Established in 2005, PT Komatsu Astra Finance is a joint venture company that runs its business in corporate financing service which provides leasing service to premium/corporate customer with heavy equipment as the object finance. Previously, the Company only focused on specific industry which is coal mining industry. However, in year 2013, the Company had started to expand the business into non coal mining segment industry by having new portfolio with gold mining and agro-forestry customers. In accordance with the Company's mission to support sales of Komatsu & related products, majority of the Company object financed are Komatsu big equipment and related products that are sold through United Tractors. As of 2023, the Company's total Gross Financed since the Company established was US$ 3.5 Billion.
