Cikal bakal PT Heksa Solution Insurance dimulai pada tahun1988 ketika Induk Koperasi Purnawirawan dan Warakawuri Tentara Nasional Indonesia Polisi Republik Indonesia (INKOPPABRI) membentuk Unit Usaha Iuran Jasa Keuangan. Pada tahun 2002, Unit Usaha ini diresmikan sebagai badan hukum oleh INKOPPABRI dengan mengakuisisi PT Ongko Life Insurance. Izin usaha ini disahkan oleh Menteri Kehakiman Republik Indonesia melalui Surat Keputusan Nomor C2-9235 HT.01.01.Th.95. Adapun nama perseroan PT Heksa Eka Life Insurance disahkan berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Menteri Kehakiman dan Hak Asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia Nomor C-08236 HT.01.04.TH.2002 dengan Ijin Usaha Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia Nomor S.182/MK.6/2002 tanggal 25 Juni 2002 juncto Keputusan Menteri Keuangan Nomor 205/KMK.017/1996 tanggal 15 Maret 1996. Seiring dengan dinamika usaha dan melihat potensi pasar yang terus berkembang, terjadi perubahan komposisi kepemilikan saham pada bulan Maret 2016 yang disertai dengan pergantian nama perseroan dari PT Heksa Eka Life Insurance menjadi PT Heksa Solution Insurance. Perubahan nama perseroan tersebut telah disetujui oleh Menteri Hukum & Hak asasi Manusia Republik Indonesia Nomor AHU-0000407.AH.01.02.TAHUN 2017 tanggal 9 Januari 2017 dengan izin usaha berdasarkan Keputusan Dewan Komisioner Otoritas Jasa Keuangan Nomor KEP-22/NB.11/2017 tanggal 6 Februari 2017. Perubahan kepemilikan ini menjadi landasan yang kokoh untuk mewujudkan komitmen kami menjadi penyedia layanan asuransi terpercaya yang "Cepat, Aman dan Pasti"​ bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. Since its foundation in 1961, Hutama Karya (HK) always became a significant part for the history of Indonesian Infrastructure development. HK had produced a great deal of historical landmarks and projects around Indonesia, such as Indonesia’s House of Representative Building in Senayan, Jakarta; Cawang – Tj. Priok Toll-Road in Jakarta; Ampera Bridge in Palembang; as well as Ayer Hitam Toll-Road in Malaysia and Metro Manilla Skyway in Phillipines. During that period of time, HK always became the pioneer in construction technology and methods. For example, HK had established itself as the first contractors to apply pre-stressed concrete at Semanggi Intersection project in Jakarta. Then, HK also invented the ‘Sosrobahu’ technology—a special method in which builders could construct a fly-over road in the midst of active traffic without creating a significant traffic-jam. This technology was implemented at the Cawang – Tj. Priok Toll Road in Jakarta as well as at the Metro Manilla Skyway in the Phillipines. Today, HK was officially appointed by the Indonesian Government to develop Trans-Sumatera toll-road in Sumatera. Trans-Sumatera will connect Aceh all to the way to Bakahueni (Lampung) in a 2,770-kilometer length of toll-road. This entrusted Government’s assignment has creating a new direction for HK to transform itself, from a contractor to a full-fledged infrastructure developer, with broader field of business, wider need for the core-competency, in which all of that led to a greater opportunity for corporate growth and sustanaibility. Therefore, as a first step toward this massive transformation, HK had already change its long-standing corporate vision into a new one : “Indonesia’s Most Valuable Infrastructure Developer” #IMVID.
