Pukeko Pictures is an independent entertainment production company, focused on the development and production of excellent quality, multi-platform entertainment for a global audience. Pukeko Pictures was founded in 2008 by Sir Richard Taylor, Tania Rodger and Martin Baynton, and is located in Wellington, New Zealand. “Porque meias não podem ser divertidas?” Com esse pensamento que define tudo, nasceu a Puket. Foi nos anos 80. Sim, já faz 30 anos. E de lá pra cá, nunca mais paramos de nos fazer essa pergunta. Sempre que lançamos uma nova categoria de produto, inauguramos uma nova loja (e já são mais de 200 no Brasil e no mundo) ou expandimos nossos domínios digitais carregamos esse borogodó. No DNA da Puket encontramos o que? Uma saudável multiplicação de células de risos. Uma capacidade de ser curioso, de ser divertido, de ser criança até os 104 anos. Adoramos nos divertir mas também levamos diversão a sério, por isso criamos a iniciativa Meias do Bem que, desde 2013, transforma meias usadas em consciência ambiental, social e planetal. Somos uma família engraçada, que junta unicórnios, pandas, vacas e dinossauros na mesa de jantar. E acredita que no fim de todo arco-íris tem um pote de doce de leite. Afinal, ninguém veste meias. As pessoas vestem sorvetes e comem meias, óbvio.

Way back in 1960s Leicestershire, husband and wife team Trevor and Valerie Storer started making pies. In 1963, Trevor Storer’s Homemade Pies baked their very first pies. Understandably word of a good pie spreads fast, and the entrepreneurial pair sold over a thousand pies in the first week. As the couple’s little bakery continued to grow, it came time for a new name – something that would reflect their deliciously hearty pies and their friendly, close-knit company. That’s how the Storers’ Homemade Pies became Pukka, a fun and fashionable Hindi-derived word for all things genuinely, properly good. With more than 50 years spent making pies, we’ve become quite the experts. These days our 350-strong team sells around 60 million pies a year in the UK and even abroad. But while we may have grown, we’re still based in Leicestershire just a stone’s throw from where it all began, baking all of our pies on site using many of Trevor and Valerie’s original recipes. We’re proud to make pies that are distinctively Pukka, and with our tasty, honest, feel-good food, we put smiles on faces at dinner tables, football games and local chippies.
