One of the latest highlights in our close to 40 years company history is the design and manufacture of 2 different types of mass production in-line coating systems for bipolar plates for fuel cells and electrolyzers. PVT Plasma und Vakuum Technik GmbH, with its world headquarter in Bensheim, near Frankfurt, Germany, is a leader in the field of ion- and plasma-assisted vacuum coating technologies. PVT is a leading manufacturer of industrial PVD (physical vapor deposition) coating equipment depositing high performance coatings with highly wear - , erosion - , corrosion – resistant but also tailored electrical and tribological properties. Our expertise is in the fields of arc evaporation, specifically HiParc (High Power Pulsed Arc), magnetron sputtering, HiPIMS and PECVD. PVT pioneered these technologies for applications in different industries such as cutting tools, dies and moulds, automotive and aero engines.
