Patrick Architects are expert in planning and designing education projects. We have been planning and designing new pedagogy schools since 2006, and each school has variances that we believe will contribute to pioneering advancements in educating young people well into the foreseeable future. Some of our new pedagogy schools have been constructed and occupied and we continue to learn from our post-occupancy visits for the pros and cons of these facilities in order to continue to improve our ongoing design work. We are condent that the knowledge and experience we have gained and our research of numerous other schools, will be invaluable for the planning of your school project. The Patrick Architects team can conduct your project responsibly and efciently. The paramount document is the educational brief and functional brief. This must include, the learning pedagogy; the allocation of space; the learning areas; the specialist areas; and the size and relationship of these areas. The outcome will be determined by the research and expert opinions provided at the start of the project. In our experience, the more rigorous the educational planning; the better the functional brief; the better the outcome, and the more likely chance of success of the project. Our design team has the required expertise to conduct this work and provide justiable credibility to the outcome. We need to ensure that the project brief remains robust and can withstand scrutiny well into the future. Within the context of the classical liberal arts as a time-tested framework, courses mirror the trivium's emphasis on knowledge (grammar), understanding (logic), and application (rhetoric). A PHC student culminates his degree with an apprenticeship that applies the "rhetoric"​ of creative performance in the field of study. Regardless of major, students are invited to explore the interconnectedness of all the disciplines, reflecting the truth that in Christ "all things hold together"​ (Colossians 1:17). Patrick Henry College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate-level degrees, and is accredited by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges & Schools and is certified to operate by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
