PAX Scandinavia develops, produces and markets the footwear brands: PAX, Sköna Marie, Marstrand and Tellus. The history of Pax Scandinavias dates back to 1894 when Erik Åqvist was a part of starting the Örebro Skofabrik, which would be the first in a long line of shoe factories in the Swedish "shoe city"​ Örebro. Erik Åqvist started to sell shoes in his company "Carlsson & Åqvist"​, the company that would become synonymous with Swedish shoe production throughout the 1900s, with famous factories like PAX, REX and Master. The company is still located in Örebro where all design and product development still takes place. Since 1998 PAX Scandinavia is a part of the New Wave Group. PAX: With its long history as a leading Swedish childrens shoe brand, many generations has taken their first steps and grown up with PAX shoes on their feet. The first PAX shoes was developed in 1929 and we carry more than 85 years of experience as a leading developer of the future of childrens shoes. Sköna Marie: With its roots in the seventies Sköna Marie offers cutting edge comfort in casual ladies fashion shoes. A wide collection is offered to the market and can be found in most Swedish shoe stores. The brand is about wellness, design, comfort and quality for style-conscious women. Marstrand: Born on the Swedish west coast Marstrand offers maritime lifestyle shoes for both offshore and onshore use. The brands DNA comes from Sweden's sailing, regatta and yatching center, the island of Marstrand. This famous resort with its classic and stylish look is gives us endless inspiration.
